It's hard for me to refuse a request from a terrifying gentleman, and since I've been tagged by the shocking horror that is Pierre of
Frankensteinia as well as the ghastly terror who calls himself Rev. Phantom of
Midnight Confessions, I've graciously accepted the challenge that is
The Alphabet Movie Meme! I understand the rules to be something like "pick a movie for every letter of the alphabet," but I've taken a leaf from Pierre's estimable tome and opted to make my list a themed work. And, really--what better theme is there than
NUNSPLOITATION? Bask in the excellence of my nunsploitation alphabet, offered here with photo accompaniment (you're welcome). As Empress, I give myself full credit even if I had to invent one of the titles and stretch the definition of "nunsploitation" now and again...

As to tagging others, I'll permit you participate as you wish--besides, I think I'm the last person on the internet to participate in this! If you need a leg up on a Nazisploitation alphabet, I'm most of the way there already!

DAMN! I'm just impressed you could name that many nunsploitation flicks--let alone find ones that start with the hard letters (Q, X and Z). I again bow before your awesomeness.
Kate, you may not be the last person on the internet to participate in this, but you have brought this meme to a screeching halt. Nobody can possibly top the Nunsploitation Alphabet. Brilliant! Perverse!
OK, now that you've mentioned both The Devils and Flavia the Heretic (starring the awesomeness that is Florinda Bolkan), I have to ask when both of these great films will get the tenebrous treatment?
That left me speechless. You're officially the coolest person ever.
I am all a-blush over here, gentlemen! Thanks for your kind comments :) I feel kinda unworthy, seeing as how one of those titles isn't even a real film (Rev--it's one of the letters you've ID'ed). It *could* be a real film, though, so I guess I did a decent job of covering my tracks!
I'll also take a moment to shout out a book that I have found absolutely indispensible for its sheer mass of info--Steve Fentone's "Anticristo." I haven't checked if it's still in print or not but I do suggest it makes its way onto your Holiday Gift Lists. I was fortunate enough to get a copy for Giftmas a few years back myself!
Hang on to that book. Just looked it up on Amazon, and it is OOP, but two sellers are asking $400 for the paperback.
