Witness the "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" tarot deck, created by artist Howard Hallis. Goddamn, I love that groovy-ass mess of a movie--for more Russ Meyer glee, you can read my review of "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" here. This may not be my happening, but it sure is freaking me out, baby!

But wait...if Z-Man is the Magician, who's the Devil? Or Death? Or does Z-Man appear on most of the major arcana? :P
Throw in a Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Ouija board and a Vixen! haruspicy kit, and we might well have a new cult a-brewin!
Great stuff, Joan and Kate! Thanks!
Fantastic!
That fuckin top shelf. I have to have a set. Will never get tired of this movie.
I would have pegged Z-Man for the High Priestess myself. Is this anything like the deck of cards my Dad gave me with pictures of big chested women? And is there any truth to the rumor that throwing the I-Ching too often makes you grow hair on your palms?
Indeed, guys--this sure beats out the Naked Lady Playing Cards I keep in the glove compartment of my car (you know, for boobs-and-gambling related EMERGENCIES). I'm impressed that the artist completed the major arcana--I've gotten as far as saying "gee, wouldn't it be neat to design a tarot deck?" before tossing that idea into my ever-expanding Pile Of Awesome And Never-To-Be-Completed Ideas.
I'm glad to be of service.

Must have these!
Did you know that "Carrie Nation" whom the band was named after in BTVOTD was born in KY, my home state. You're random trivia bit o the day.
Wow...definitely the coolest thing I've seen in weeks. The idea feels so natural, it's as if it should've been done long ago. Thanks.
Okay, I totally need this!
Just found your blog at random (looking for Chiller Theatre stuff) -- I'll need to add it to my reads!
Thanks!
I feel like, having come late to the "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" party, I'm finally in the company of a great, groovy and overwhelmingly awesome bunch of people :)
Of all the things I need right this effing minit!!!!!
